Glazed carrots


Let yourself be conquered by the crispy simplicity of glazed carrots: a veg dish to be savored with a precious glass of our Prosecco

    Ingredients for 4 people


    • 12 small, fresh carrots

    • 20 coarsely chopped walnuts

    • 2 tablespoons acacia honey

    • extra virgin olive oil

    • white sesame seeds

    • black sesame seeds

    • salt

    • pepper



    Preparation


    Peel the carrots, leaving them whole;

    Blanch the peeled carrots in salted water for 5-8 minutes (they should remain firm);


    Mix the honey and oil in a bowl until well blended and brush the carrots, which you have placed on a sheet of baking paper on the oven tray, with this mixture.


    Sprinkle the carrots with chopped walnuts and sesame seeds and bake for 10/15 minutes in a ventilated oven at 180° (15/20 minutes in a static oven at 200°).


    Serve the carrots to accompany a roast meat or baked fish, with a chilled glass of Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG.
