Sautéed Mussels

A very simple recipe that tells of summer and sea, perfect as appetizer or as main course, to pair with our Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut Luxury Collection.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 people)

Very fresh mussels 1.5 kg

2 garlic cloves

1 glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg Brut

A sprig of chopped parsley

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper

 

RECIPE

Carefully clean the mussels under cold running water, scrape the surface with a straws and remove also the barb at the shell’s hinge. In a large frying pan heat the oil with the peeled garlic, pour in the mussels and cover for 3 minutes, then add the wine and let it fade for a couple of minutes, adjusting the salt and pepper.

Remove the mussels from the heat, sprinkle with plenty of chopped parsley and serve paired with a glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut Luxury Collection.
